So I’ve redesigned the site yet again. This time I decided to go for a premium WordPress theme – I realised they tend to look a lot slicker than the free themes, and £25 is not that much when compared to the amount of time I’ve already invested in this. I also moved the whole blog from blog.i.saac.me, to i.saac.me, since I realised this site had become my real “homepage”. Let me know what you think!

Hmm… I think I preferred the other one – even though this is a bit more slicker – it forced me into reading other posts because the archives were located on right. I’m not sure about the science behind that but I normally tend not to focus much on anything to the left of the post I’m reading and everything to the right seems to be in my clear line of sight. Haha me its just me or the fact that we read left to right… I don’t know

I like it much more than the old one. Great improvement. Makes more sense to see what you’re thinking as your page. The previous four boxes didn’t say much.
I think the header logo image looks too bunched to the top of the page – needs more whitespace above the Isaac.
I’m not convinced you need two accent colours (blue and orange) or that the links on the recent comments need to stand out so much.
If it’s your blog, will all the posts be by you? If so, I don’t you don’t need the name link in the meta for each article. If you keep it, I think it would make more sense to redirect to your about page. You could overwrite the default behaviour by adding the appropriate line to htaccess.
Might sound negative, but the fact that these are so nitpicky shows how much better it is than it was!
